"Birth Spacing Saves Women's Lives"
"There is an irrefutable linkage between women's health and the health of their children and their communities"
"The freedom to make reproductive choices is a cornerstone of women's empowerment. It is the first of women's freedoms and the one from which all others flow.
An essential part of women's empowerment is better reproductive health, including access to modern, safe, affordable and effective family planning."

Who We Are Family Health Alliance (FHA) is a female led non-profit tax-exempt organization that focuses on maternal and infant mortality, low contraceptive use, and advancing women's reproductive health and rights in resource-poor environments.
What We Do FHA provides clinical and theoretical family planning and reproductive health training and education to local female and male health providers.
|
|
Empowerment FHA's training programs are designed and implemented within a unique empowerment model in which its teams of trainers work closely with the trainees to help them to overcome cultural and social obstacles in providing reproductive health care in often challenging environments.
Collaboration FHA collaborates with local governments, teaching institutions and local NGOs to build professional capacity among local health professionals.
Sustainability FHA believes that meaningful and sustainable improvements in health care are rooted in the training and empowering of providers and the local population.
